Yes yes it is winter. You are still aloud to eat ice-cream. I had ice-cream at my friends house and she said “What is your favourite ice-cream?” You see I don’t know, thats why I need help with it. What kind of ice-cream should be my favourite?

Do you know who Jackson Pollock is? He is an artist that expresses his feelings by making incredible paintings.
In our class we’ve been learning about Jackson Pollock and his art. We watched a video about him on Youtube and we learned he likes to throw paint all over a canvas on the floor. He moves around the canvas constantly. He uses a sticks, paint brushes and string to move the paint around and give it texture and depth. We also learned in a lot of art there is Space, Line, Form, Shape, Value, Colour and Texture.
That picture that is on my post was made on a website called www.Jacksonpollock.org. When you click the mouse it changes colours and paints your picture. Once you get the hang of it then you are a pro just like Jackson Pollock. The only thing is that it doesn’t let you put pieces of string, glass or metal. You should know that instead of a signature he leaves his hand print. Do you know any other famous artists?
I am so excited for Christmas. I love giving out gifts for my friends and family. I bought three lockets for my friends. I am going to take a picture of my two best friends and then I am going to find a picture of me and I am going to put them in the locket. I think they are going to love it. Lets just hope they don’t go on my blog. I have a home made event calender to count up to Christmas and we just put the chocolate in it. Although I am in grade seven some of you probably think I am too old but I don’t. I have a Christmas list too. I have 36 things on the list that I want. It is a lot but I am going to narrow it down. Here are the main things I want for Christmas…
*Ipod touch
*cell phone (Iphone four)
*laptop
That’s all I have to say.Hopeyou haveaMerryChristmas.
Last week our class learned about angles. The angles we learned are Right angle, obtuse angle, straght angle, acute angle, and a reflex angle. A right angle is 90°, obtuse angle is more then 90º and less then 180º, straight angle is 180º, acute angle is less then 90º, and a reflex angle is more then 180º and you measure the outside. Before we measured and learned more about angles we made notes to remind us. After we made notes we did a worksheet (I think we did the work sheet so we can drill it in our brains). The next day we brought our cameras outside and around the school, and tried to find angles and when we did we took pictures. Once we did that we downloaded the pictures in a file and we opened a program called FireFox. In this program we found all our angles and drew arrows on the pictures. After we drew on them we measured the angles. I thought it was fun going outside and taking pictures. On Thursday we played a game called Alien Angles. It is so fun it says a measurement and you have to put the lines in the spot you think it is and then you push check it. If you get it right you saved one alien and if you don’t get it right then you lost an alien. The next day we did a scavenger hunt. We got a piece of paper and it named all the angles and we had to find them. If you were in the first ten people you would get two timbits. I love that game it is super fun. What angles do you know?
This is all I have to say about angles. Hope I see you soon.

My class joined the Blogging Challenge so I had to joinbut I’ve always wanted a blog. My mom has three blogs that is why I wanted a blog so badly.I feel excited and happy that Igot my blog, and that I get to comment on other people’s comments and replies. I’m hoping to create videos, and pictures because I want to learn how to make them so when I am at home I can make videos for family members. I think blogging will help mebecome a better writer becauseitwill provide me with a lot ofpractice to help melearnwhat makes sence in a sentence.
